Adding more fluid isn't going to "loosen" it any. Stop being a pussy and work out those arms, Nancy Boy.

Just buy OEM fluid. Every car I've owned has been fine using the stock stuff. It's not like there's any such thing as "performance" power steering fluid and PSF is super cheap at less than $2 a bottle.

So, topping it off wouldn't be a bad thing? Its not exactly at the top. I cant tell if its at the full mark or not because the resovoir itself it too dirty...

 

Don't top off any fluid, dude. Just fill it to the mark.

Never top off your PS fluid, becuase what happens is when you turn your wheel back to center after it is hot. it will purge the extra fluid out of the resivor. Read the resivor it will show you where to fill to when it is hot/cold.
